How does the Federation work?

The various committees are the backbone of the Federation. Currently, the committees are:

    - Budget and Taxation             - Land Use and Environment             - Legislation               - Communication

    - Utilities Service Projects       - Transportation                                   - Education                 - Membership

When are the Meetings and are they open to the public?

The regular meetings are held on the third Tuesday, January through May and September through November at 1:30 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, 1306 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205 (meeting location subject to change).

All meetings are open and free to anyone who lives in Manatee County and owns a home, condo or mobile home.  

A guest speaker is invited to most meetings to advise us on current issues. This could be an elected state or local official or an individual who has expertise in a particular field.

There are no member meetings scheduled in June, July, August or December.  However, our board members are always kept informed on current issues which may affect our members.
